Rowlands Castle Association Annual General Meeting

Time: 7pm
Location: The Parish Hall, Links Lane, Rowlands Castle PO9 6AD

The business part of the AGM, with the election of officers and an account of the RCA year, takes half an hour or so. Following this, there will be a short talk given by Mr Michael Prior, who is Head Forester for the Stansted Park Foundation. Michael will talk about the current situation in Stansted Forest, including why so many trees have had to be cut down over the last few months. He will be happy to answer questions after his talk.

The talk will be followed by drinks and refreshments and a chance to talk to members of the RCA Committee. This is a great way to find out a bit more about the RCA and to share a drink with other residents.

All adults who live in Rowlands Castle, Dean Lane End, Forestside and Finchdean are already members of the Rowlands Castle Association (RCA), which was created for the benefit of all local residents. This event is an ideal time for residents to come and tell us what they think the RCA should be doing to meet its aims which are: “To conserve the character of Rowlands Castle, to provide a channel of communication on matters of local interest and to enhance the life of the village.” We would really value your feedback on how best we can achieve these aims, and there will be time for some discussion of this at the AGM. Please come along and bring your friends and neighbours to see what the RCA is all about.

Please email Sue, RCA Secretary, on with any questions you might have.

If you have any free time, then please consider joining us on the RCA Committee. We have several vacancies now and we need a few more members. If you are interested in joining, then please contact Helen Penfold, RCA Chair, on, or anyone else on the Committee.
